I am Professor at the Department of Visual Computing of the University of Bonn, where I head the Learning and Optimisation for Visual Computing Group. Before that, I held positions as Assistant Professor at University of Bonn, Visiting Professor at the Chair of Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich, and as postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in the Graphics, Vision and Video group.
